Every position a child adopts has an effect on their development and functional movement now and in the future!
Jenx was founded by a paediatric physiotherapist and a product designer in 1982, with the aim of enriching lives and changing perceptions about disability. For over 30 years Jenx has been researching, designing and making pioneering developmental equipment that supports children as they grow.
Every Jenx product is the outcome of a thorough design process, which draws on input from therapists, carers, their own experts and wider research developments in the field. New products are put through a rigorous set of tests and verification procedures both in the factory and in the field to ensure it has the exceptional quality Jenx are known for.
All Jenx products are manufactured in Sheffield, England, to exacting safety standards. The Post Sales Vigilance Process that Jenx use, enables them to analyse the performance of a product and feed that information back into the design process. This ensures that Jenx products are constantly being improved in a very real way.
Their products are underpinned by years of experience and commitment to helping children and families achieve greater independence and freedom. Jenx makes a real difference to lives, enabling children to experience a wider range of activities in comfort.
Products for life from people who care.®
Rifton began in 1977 as an offshoot of Community Playthings, a leading manufacturer of furniture and equipment for early childhood settings. When one of their designers paid a neighbourly visit to a Connecticut home for children with disabilities, a therapist asked if they could custom-build a chair for one of their residents.
In the next months similar requests trickled in, and before long designers and workers at Community Playthings were dreaming about an entirely different and new line of equipment. And so Rifton Equipment began.
Rifton represents the best of American values. All of their equipment is proudly made in the USA at their state-of-the-art facilities in New York’s Hudson Valley.
Each new piece of equipment goes through rigorous testing before it’s launched. To ensure their equipment provides years of service, their designers simulate real-world use in their test labs. You can feel confident that your Rifton product will survive whatever use you may give it.
Rifton are people building for people – every component of a Rifton product is welded, assembled, stitched, or adhered by hand. The Rifton promise of quality results in durable equipment that lasts. More product for the money is a signature of genuine Rifton equipment.
