Introducing Evie

We would like to share with you Evie’s story and her Bee by Jenx.

Evie was diagnosed prenatally with a heart condition and shortly after birth, tests confirmed Trisomy 21. At 4 weeks old she had open heart surgery then at 9 months suffered a stroke causing her hemiplegia, followed by two more heart operations after 10 months had passed.

Originally given a chair to use during her long hospital stay, Evie enjoyed being able to move around the ward. When Evie returned home, she received her very own Bee chair which is loved by all her family!
